ICS 8th Annual Tractor Ride: Inwood Christian School will be hosting the 8th Annual ICS Tractor Ride on Saturday, May 27th. The ride will consist of 40 plus miles of scenic back roads through Northwest Iowa and Southeast South Dakota. The homemade breakfast and noon meals, served before the ride in Inwood and at the West Shelter in the Lake Pahoja Recreation Area, are included in the entry fee. We plan to leave about three (3) miles southeast of Conrath. Drive through the rural area. Around lunch time, we plan to stop in Conrath and eat at BRYR Hopper's Hilltop. We plan to show t he tractors along Main Street. Around three (3) p.m. we finish up with our tractor ride. We are hoping to ride about twenty-five (25) miles......come on along!

The second annual Harold King Memorial Tractor Ride will be held on Saturday June 3, 2017 with a rain date of July 1, 2017! The registration time will be 8:30 a.m. with the ride beginning promptly at 9:15 a.m. This year we will be meeting in the MidAmerican Energy parking lot in Schaller (506 W. 2nd St.) MidAmerican is located on the West side of Schaller on the old D-15. We will have signs posted starting by Sparky’s in Schaller. Turn right (West) at Sparky’s and travel through town on W. 2nd Street. MidAmerican is the last building on the North (right hand) side of the road. The route is to be determined. Registration fee is $25 (includes 1 Meal and 1 Cooler.) Stay Tuned!

Registration fee is $90 per tractor if paid by March 1, 2017. After that date, the Registration Fee is $125 per tractor if the ride isn’t full. Hello all!


I am planning the 4th Annual Ride for the Cure Tractor Ride.  I am hoping this year will be the best yet!  It will be held June 17 starting in Lakeside.  


The fundraising goal has been set at $5,000.  The proceeds will be going to the BVRMC Oncology Dept once again and they are in need of hospital beds and a TV.

Beef and Ag Tractor Drive

Plans are now being finalized for the 2017 Beef & Ag Tractor Ride, which will be held, Saturday, June 24, 2017. This year’s ride will again depart from the Bureau County Farm Bureau building, 535 Elm Place in Princeton just after 8:00 a.m. Here are a few important things to note: -Plan to join us for breakfast beginning at 6:45 a.m. - We will have a driver’s meeting at 8:00. We will leave after the drivers meeting. - Pre-registration is required by June 16th. The fee for the ride is $50. If you have an additional rider, their fee is $15. - ALL participants must check in and have a signed registration form and liability waiver, prior to leaving on the ride. - Drinks and snacks will be provided throughout the day. Lunch is included with your registration. Dinner will be available at the park at your expense. - Upon the return to town there will be an opportunity to stop at Soldiers and Sailors Park for an annual Cattlemen’s Ribeye and delicious desserts. After spending some time at the park, the tractors will depart back to the Farm Bureau to end the ride. - The route for the ride is tentatively southeastern Bureau County. Bureau County Farm Bureau Foundation Tractor Trek

  • Farm Bureau Foundation to Sponsor a Tractor Trek to support Ag in the Classroom Save the Date!!! The Bureau County Farm Bureau Foundation is putting the final touches on plans for our sixth annual Tractor Trek. The Tractor Trek will be held on Sunday, June 25, 2017, rain or shine! This year’s event is an effort to raise funds for the Ag in the Classroom Program. Participants will have the opportunity to share the exciting event with other antique tractor enthusiasts as they travel through the west central portion of Bureau County.   • Woodbury County Farm Bureau is putting on a Tractor Ride on Saturday July 8 that goes from Moville to Anthon and back with a Show-N-Shine to end the day in Moville. The ride itself will feature both gravel and paved roads and will see some neat scenic places in the county! The riders will leave Moville at 9:30, stop for lunch in Anthon at Noon, and arrive back in Moville around 3:30. A hot lunch provided by Central Catering will be served as we hear from Wolf Creek Seed about cover crops AND auction off chances for your tractor to be highlighted on a month in the Woodbury County Antique Tractor Calendar! All the proceeds from the registration fees to the calendar auction benefit Siouxland Agriculture in the Classroom, a non-profit organization that brings farm-to-table education to elementary schools as well as resources and professional development for teachers in 7 NW Iowa Counties (Woodbury, Plymouth, Monona, Ida, Cherokee, Sioux, and O'brien). Heritage Park of North Iowa Annual Tractor Ride

The annual tractor ride, sponsored by the Forest City Chamber of Commerce and Heritage Park of North Iowa, is an experience of traveling through North Iowa’s country roads and small towns at a speed that allows you to really see the countryside. All you need is a tractor from the 1960s or older that is capable of a 50 to 70 mile drive, usually on asphalt roads. (The trip is divided into two groups, a fast group and a slow group depending on the speed of your tractor.)

Along the ride, you’ll find plenty of food, coffee, and visits with neighbors and new friends. Participants are young and old, men and women, so join the fun! The tractor ride starts at Heritage Park around 7:00 AM with coffee and rolls and a short talk on the route and safety. The groups travel together and enjoy breaks for coffee, rest stops, and a noon meal. The trip ends at Heritage Park around 3:00 PM for more treats! Preston Annual Autumn Tractor Ride

Preston’s 5th Annual Autumn Tractor Ride This tractor ride, sponsored by the Preston Historical Society, will be again during the third weekend, 16th-17th, in September. The first day we will be leaving from the Preston Fairgrounds at 9:00 AM and head Southeasterly, with a break at the new Henrytown Lutheran Church. From Henrytown we will make our way to Mabel, MN for lunch. After lunch we will head southwest into Iowa with a break at the MN-IA state line rest area, then work our way back to the Preston Fairgrounds. The second day, we will leave the fairgrounds at 9:00 and head west to Spring Valley, MN, with a break at the city park. From there we will drive southeasterly to the Forestville State Park for lunch. After lunch we will work our way back to the Preston Fairgrounds, where we will have light refreshments before leaving for home. We will be furnishing 2 breaks each day. Also, Saturday we will be furnishing lunch and a pork chop supper and Sunday morning we will furnishing a hot breakfast and lunch. As in the past, Friday and Saturday nights, tractors will be undercover in the large show cattle building at the fairgrounds. The cost of this ride is $105 if registered before August 15. After August 15th the registration will cost $120. Also, 1 day registrations and passenger registrations are available at a lesser cost.
